Final Essay
The three events that have had the greatesr impact are Early History, L.A. Riots, and Gang History.This three impact me alot becuase it shows me how L.A. got started when did it became a city.It also tell me about the riots that happened here.In addition about the gang history that happened here.I learned alot from these three things. Also this are the topics that impact me the most.Throughout what we learned.
The first topic is Early History.This one impacted me becuase it tells me how it started.The people that actually lived here were Chumash Indigenous.The orginal name of Los Angeles isn’n L.A. is “El Rio de Nuestra Senora de Los Angeles.” But like the name waas long they shortned it. Los Angeles was incorporated as a city in 1850.This is basically the way L.A started. Becuase probally if the people werne’t here L.A. would be diffrenet.Or maybe it wouldn’t exist.Also becuase la before wasn’t a city it was dessert.
The second topic is the L.A Riots.Many bad stuff happened during the riot.You could say that people were going crazy.People were getting robbed from their stores.The L.A. Riot started becuase Rodney King was pulled over for driving fast.The police told him to get off the car and he got hit bruatility.The police were being taped and they didn’t knew that.The video got to the media.People saw this.They got really upset of what they did to Rodney.That’s when they started rioting.Of what they did to him.
The last topic is Gang History. The way gangs started were by the white people.The white people use to hit other people that wasn’t their race.They were blacks and latinos the most “common one’s.”After a while black and latino started making their gangs.They just mage gangs to defend themselves and the community.The gangs they made were suppose to be good. But then alot fo bad started happening.Thet started getting into fights.Sometimes just for no reason.
Finally these topic are important to me. Iearned good stuff about South Central.Los Angeles has grown alot as a city.This palce has had good stuff and bad stuff like any other palce. But I have liked living here in la.This place is still growing up.Into many diffrenet ways.This South Central.
